FINAL preparations are under way for the launch of a brand new bus service to operate in the Stamford, Peterborough and North East Northamptonshire area next month. Lincolnshire County Council’s CallConnect `dial a bus` initiative receives its latest boost on Tuesday, April 6, when customers will be able to take advantage of an enhanced service which will, for the first time, provide journeys directly between Stamford and Edith Cavell Hospital in Peterborough. The extended CallConnect service will also offer new direct links to Stamford and Peterborough from many locations and between villages in Peterborough, Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire. The CallConnect services in this area have been made possible through joint funding and partnership working between Lincolnshire County Council, Northamptonshire County Council and Peterborough City Council. Please continue to use the existing number for journeys up to Saturday April 3rd. NEW OPENING HOURS: 9am - 5.30pm Monday-Friday and 9am-4pm Saturday. We will be opening 30 minutes later on Mondays to Fridays but will remain open for later in the afternoon.
